University of Kirkuk Undergraduates' Research Published in a Spanish Academic Journal

For the First Time in the College of Agriculture: Undergraduate Thesis Published in a Spanish Journal

A graduation research project by undergraduate students at the University of Kirkuk, titled Behavioral Responses of Awassi Ewes After Dietary Supplementation with Hemp Seed Powder, has been published in the Spanish Journal of Innovation and Integrity. The research was supervised by faculty members of the Animal Production Department: Dr. Zerk Palani, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Madhi Zainalabideen, and Mr. Zakariya Ahmed Hussein.

The research team explained that their study aimed to:

• - Analyze behavioral changes in Awassi ewes following the introduction of hemp seed powder as a dietary supplement.

• - Investigate potential effects on overall health and behavioral performance.

This publication marks a milestone as the first undergraduate research from the College of Agriculture to achieve international recognition, reflecting the university’s commitment to advancing innovative agricultural sciences and fostering student-led research.
