Kirkuk University Agriculture Dean Attends Iraqi Agricultural Deans' Meeting

The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, participated in the periodic meeting of the Committee of Agricultural College Deans, held at the University of Mosul’s College of Agriculture and Forestry.

Dr. Ahmed stated that attendees discussed the latest developments in agricultural education, including modern trends in using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across various agricultural fields. He noted that the meeting concluded with recommendations to:

• 1- Integrate AI applications into academic curricula.

• 2- Guide researchers and postgraduate students to conduct studies on AI-driven solutions for challenges in crop management, irrigation efficiency, and sustainable farming.

The discussions emphasized the need to align academic programs with technological advancements, ensuring graduates are equipped to address Iraq’s agricultural challenges through innovation.
