A delegation from the College of Agriculture visits the 17th Erbil International Book Fair

 A delegation from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk, comprising faculty members and students, visited the 17th Erbil International Book Fair, held from April 9 to 19, 2025.

Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Salah Al-Din Bahaa Al-Din, Director of the Student Activities Division at the college, explained that the visit was organized in collaboration with the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit to expose students to the latest publications across various fields. He emphasized that the fair serves as a motivational platform for students to engage in continuous reading, which significantly contributes to their intellectual growth.

He added that the 17th edition of the fair featured broad participation from over 350 publishing houses representing 22 Arab and foreign countries. Additionally, a specialized workshop was held in cooperation with the Iraqi Publishers and Writers Association to discuss the state of the book industry and strategies for advancing publishing practices in Iraq.
